Within Your Hut
Each Shepherds Hut comes with a luxury double
ended bath outside on the veranda so you can lay back, relax and enjoy the
stars with your favourite bubbles.
Step out of the bath, pull up a comfy chair and dry off in front of the gas fire pit. Why not finish the evening with a Twilight Hamper full of tempting delight such as marshmallows, smores, pop corn, chocolate sauce and hot chocolate. .
You can toast some marshmallows over the flames, sip delicious hot chocolate and listen to pop corn kernel exploding in the sauce pan.
Stoke up the wood burner before turning in into a
comfortable king size, smothered with cushions and soft throws.
Listen to your favourite music by connecting into our built in boom box or snuggle up and watch a film on 20 inch TV.
Wake up and stroll out on the veranda to watch the sun rise over the arable fields, if you are lucky you may catch a glimpse of the red deer out grazing in the early morning sunrise or over the adjacent land owned by the Norfolk wildlife trust.
If you like a walk in the morning the sunrise is beautiful over Thompson's Lake which is about a mile from your hut, located just off Pedders Way and is 32 acres in size brimming with beauty and wildlife. You can walk your dog around here too providing they are kept on a lead.
If you are a keen walker there are miles of tracks to
discover along Pedders Way where you can walk in the steps of our Roman
Here you can enter Thetford Forest and of course the Pingu Trail. If you are a keen mountain biker you can explore 47,000 acres of Norfolk’s finest forests,
Dads Army Museum
If you would like to stretch a little further field there is a Dads Army Museum within the town of Thetford.

Last but not least, if you fancy heading down the pub for a couple of drinks or an evening meal then there is a beautiful thatched pub hidden in the middle of Thompson village.
The owners will welcome you with traditional local ales and good quality food.
