Open Wednesday Evenings from 6pm and Sunday Evenings from 4pm.

Please look over our calendar, as there are certain evenings designated as special days when we are open, as well as our usual opening times.

(We can open to larger groups and parties on request).

Our foraged and fire offers a unique outdoor dining experience nestled within our woodland setting. Surrounded by trees, we have created an exceptional environment for enjoying meals prepared with locally sourced ingredients over open flames. This experience promises to not only satisfy your palate but also warm your spirit.

We prioritise sourcing our produce and meat from local small businesses, which is why we require a pre-order 48 hours in advance of your reservation. This practice enables us to prepare your meal fresh over an open fire using the finest ingredients.

Starters

Skillet fired, Breckland Brie cooked over the coals with toasted balsamic walnuts, grapes, Cranberry & fresh herbs.

Skillet Fired, Norfolk Wild garlic creamy mushrooms. (vegan option available)

Charred king prawn and prawn cocktail, Charred king prawns and lettuce with prawns in marie rose sauce.

 Locally Smoked mackerel pate served with charred wild garlic and olive oil sourdough.

Locally produced pigs in blankets, in a honey and mustard glaze served with mini yorkshire puddings and dipping gravy pot.

All starters are served with charred garlic and olive oil sourdough.

Mains

British Beef Burger with bacon, Jiffler blue cheese, burger sauce, cowboy candy, served with hand cut chips from Bootiful Buckets, & smoked BBQ beans. 

Stuffed roasted pepper in a cast iron skillet, filled with taco beans, wild rice and Mexican spices & cheese, served with a sweet potato Jacket cooked in the coals & sour cream & chives (vegan option available)

Skillet fired homemade beef ragu Lasagna, handmade pasta finished with ricotta & mozzarella, served with hand cut chips from Bootiful Buckets.

Skillet fired ratatouille Lasagna with hand made pasta finished with ricotta & mozzarella served with hand cut chips from Bootiful Buckets.

Locally sourced Turkey, ham and leek pie ,cooked in a cream sauce, topped with puff pastry served with crushed rosemary roast potatoes & house peas.

Locally sourced smoked gammon, served with charred pineapple, hand cut chips from bootiful buckets & house peas. (Supplement £3)

Homemade Norfolk apple crumble topped with extra thick double cream.

Homemade Chocolate brownie flamed with brandy, dark chocolate sauce & extra thick baileys double cream.

Important information

This is an outdoor experience featuring an open fire surrounded by benches for socializing. The tables are located in our covered veranda, which includes a woodburner to shield you from rain and wind; however, one side remains open. We recommend bringing a blanket, dressing warmly, and wearing appropriate footwear, as the setting is in the woods with woodchip paths.

We are pleased to offer private hire for large groups of up to 22 guests in our foraged and fire area. For these gatherings, we provide a sharing platter style menu, which can be requested for you to look over. Our venue is suitable for both corporate events and private functions. If you find that your desired date is unavailable for booking or if we are unable to accommodate your party, please reach out to us via the contact form below. We are open to hosting larger groups in the evenings and often have more availability than what is displayed on our booking link.
